											Operation Swingstate |
											  |

											Call into Swing States for
											Romney/Ryan

											Operation Swing State is
											organizing calls into the states
that will make a difference in the
November election.  Here is a notice
											from Operation Swing State:

											OPERATION SWING STATE

												We Can Win the White
												House by Calling Swing State
												Voters!

												Your choice: either make phone
calls now or have Obama for 4
												more years!!

												Consider these key facts:

													-
													The Presidential race is
very close and will be won
or lost in the swing states.

													-
													4 swing states are already
													voting.

													-
													You can call swing state
													voters using the Romney
													campaign online phone bank.

HERE ARE 2 WAYS YOU CAN
												CALL VOTERS:

												1. Call today from home or
												wherever you are using a
												computer and phone. To make
calls for Romney, go to  www.MittRomney.com and
move your cursor on the  Get
												Involved Tab and
click on  Call From Home (or for
												more detailed instructions and
												for suggested swing states to
												call, go to  www.OperationSwingState.org and
												then click the Romney-Ryan tab).
												Ordinarily, you will be calling
Nevada voters. If you want to
												call swing state voters in
Virginia, Ohio or Florida, see www.OperationSwingState.org for
instructions on how to do this.

												2. Organize or attend an easy,
												fun, weekly Romney-Ryan Calling
												Party!  For free tips and
												materials on organizing,
												publicizing and conducting
												Romney-Ryan Calling Parties
contact Susan Silver or Don Silver: info@OperationSwingState.org or

Walk Precincts in Las Vegas |
											  |

All Expense Paid Weekends to Walk
											Precincts.

Susan Shelley is heading up an
												operation to make a difference
												in Nevada, a swing state.

													Here is the information
													about the opportunity to go
to Las Vegas for a weekend
													in October, all expenses
													paid, to walk precincts and
get out the vote for the
													Romney-Ryan campaign.

A CNN poll in Nevada last
week had the race at 49
													Obama, 46 Romney. Nevada has
													early voting, and it's
													estimated that a majority of
													voters in the state will
													cast their ballots early. If
we can turn out the GOP
													vote, it could be the
													difference in the election.

													We'll have two buses each
													weekend and can take 112
													people. The buses will leave
the L.A. area at about 5:00
													p.m. Friday after making
													pick-ups in several
													locations and will arrive in
													Las Vegas at about 11:00
													p.m. On Saturday morning,
													8-passenger vans will
													shuttle us to Romney
													headquarters, where we'll
pick up walk sheets and get
a ride to the precincts, and
													we'll walk for about two
hours. Then it's back to the
													headquarters for lunch, then
out to the precincts to walk
													for two more hours. Saturday
night is free, and on Sunday
													morning we'll check out of
the hotel and return to the
													Romney headquarters to pick
up walk sheets for a couple
of hours more of getting out
													the vote in this crucial
													swing state.

In addition to bus and local
													shuttle transportation, the
													Romney campaign will pay for
													the hotel (rooms are double
													occupancy) and provide meals
													(and/or expense money to
													cover meals).

													The available dates are:

													October 12-14

													October 19-21

													October 26-28

													November 2-6 (if possible,
													volunteers are asked to stay
													through Election Day on
													Tuesday, but most likely
													there will be a bus
													available on Sunday for
those who want to return to
													L.A.)

													The sign-ups and logistics
													will be handled by two
													interns at L.A. GOP
													headquarters, but I don't
													have their names or contact
													info yet.

For those of you who would
like to go to Ohio to walk
													precincts, contact me.

											 Panorama
											Fatburger is offering an opportunity
											to help SFVRC

As you know the Panorama City
												Fatburger is owned by two
												Republicans, Julie Nguyen and
												John Quintanilla.  They are
												offering an opportunity for
												SFVRC members to eat at
												Fatburger.  It is only two
blocks from where we meet at
Galpin Ford, so it is easy to go
												there before or after our
												meeting, but the offer applies
												anytime.

												Go eat at Panorama City
												Fatburger, 8261 Sepulveda Blvd
												(at the corner of Roscoe)
												Panorama City, 91402.  The phone
												number there is  (818)894-7888.
Keep your receipt and bring it
to me or to Karen Klaparda, our
secretary.  We can then turn the
												receipts in to Fatburger and
they will donate 15% of the
receipts to SFVRC.  It is a
great way to help the club by
												having Fatburger donate a
percentage of your bill, but it
also helps a local business run
												by Republicans.
