Please Join Us for a Picnic
Picnic in the Park

Please join us for our First Annual "Picnic in the Park" in Griffith Park on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.

This is a community event where Republican Clubs and Republicans across Los Angeles County will be joining us for a good old-fashioned family picnic.  Everyone is invited to join us, wherever you are in LA County.  Bring your whole family, your children, your friends and your neighbors.

No politics, no speeches.  Just a fun time to get together to meet each other and share some games, laughs, and food.

We will provide dessert, soft drinks and water.  You bring the main course for your family.  Other things you should bring: chairs, blankets, frisbees, friends, cameras, portable grills if you want to cook, footballs, soccer balls, children, cameras, neighbors.

Let's make this a fun event where we can all get together socially before we begin the hard work of electing Republicans in 2012.Picnic

Directions:  Enter Griffith Park from Los Feliz Blvd. at Crystal Springs Drive.  If you take the 5 south and exit at Los Feliz you make an immediate right into Crystal Springs Drive.  Stay on Crystal Springs Drive (toward Zoo and Autry Museum).  Follow the signs that say "through traffic" until you get to the 4th stop sign (Merry Go Round).  Take a left turn and drive through the parking lot to the lower level.  Look for the balloons.

Please let us know you are coming by sending an email to rsvp@sfvrc.org and letting us know how many to expect.

We are suggesting a voluntary donation to SFVRC of $20 to help defray some of our costs and to provide funds for supporting candidates in 2012.  You can either make a cash donation at the picnic, or do so by clicking on the button below.

To access the calendar, go to http://www.sfvrc.org and click on "Calendar" on the menu, or go to: http://www.sfvrc.org/calendar.html

The calendar is in monthly mode by default, but you can click on "week" to see the calendar by the week.  If you click on any event it will open up and give you details.  The calendar can also be printed.
There are several events occurring during the next few weeks.  Be sure and check the calendar to find out when and where.
Republican Business Directory
Do Business with fellow Republicans

In these tough economic times we have decided to help each other out economically.

We are preparing a business roster of Republicans for SFVRC members.  This will be merged with a county-wide business directory that is being prepared by LA County Republican Clubs.

We are encouraging all of our members to patronize the businesses of our fellow members and Republicans.  If you need goods and services, why not have them provided by your fellow Republicans?

For those of you who would like to have your business listed in our business directory, please send an email to:

Provide your name, the name and street address of your business, your business phone number, your business web site address, and your email address.  Also provide a description of the services you provide or the type of goods you sell.

We would like to publish this directory by March, so please send in your information.  Send an email to business@sfvrc.org with the above information.

Please join us at our picnic.  We would love to see you.

I hope to see you there.
