SFVRC Meeting Notice - June 6th 2006
  General Membership Meeting
June 6, 2006

  Dear Gary,

We have a great meeting, with an excellent speaker planned for Tuesday, June 6th, 2006. The meeting will be at 7:00pm at Galpin Ford, 2nd Floor Meeting Room, 15555 Roscoe Blvd, North Hills.

Douglas Wilson
Featured Speaker - Douglas Wilson, Ph. D.

Doug Wilson is Chairman of Townhall.com, the leading conservative website in the U.S.

He writes for Townhall.com and speaks around the world on the values that have made America great. He is the co- author with Ed Feulner, President of the Heritage Foundation, of the New York Times bestseller, Getting America Right: The True Conservative Values Our Nation Needs Today.

Doug will speak on the topic of his book. The issues he will pose, among others are: This should be the best of times for conservatives but you wouldn't know it. What's gone wrong? We outline what is going wrong and ask six questions every citizen needs to be asking their elected officials in order to get us back on track.

Newt Gingrich says of the book, “one of the most important to be published in this or any other year.”

He is also the C.E.O of Next Solutions, Inc., an investment and advisory service for homebuilders around the country. He has worked as an advisor with the Heritage Foundation for over 7 years. He also served on the Advisory Board for Empower America, run by Jack Kemp and Bill Bennett.

He is married to his wife Karen and they have two children, Bryan, and Kayleigh. On a personal note, he has a passion for surfing, snowboarding, and classic guitar.

Doug will have copies of his book available for purchase.

Election Results

The night of our meeting will be the night of the Primary Election in California.

I am trying to arrange a venue where those of us who want to can go after the meeting and watch the election results, have a snack or a cocktail, and celebrate our victories (or losses) together. I don't have a place yet, but will let you know as soon as I do.

I hope to see you all on June 6th. This should be another great meeting of the SFVRC.
