45TH ASSEMBLY DISTRICT SPECIAL ELECTION - 11/19/2013

Notice of Special Runoff Election - West San Fernando Valley - November 19, 2013:

45TH ASSEMBLY DISTRICT

There is a special runoff election that will take place on November 19, 2013 between Republican Susan Shelley and Democrat Matt Dababneh.  This election will determine whether the Democrats in the State Assembly will have a supermajority or not.   It will also determine if Prop. 13 will be attacked or not.  Susan Shelley has been endorsed by the Howard Jarvis Taxpayer's Association because of her stance on protecting Prop. 13.  She is a strong supporter of Second Amendment Rights.

Susan Shelley is in the runoff election on November 19th for the 45th Assembly District Seat.
The results of the September 17 election are shown below.

Her opponent Matt Dababneh is a former staffer with Brad Sherman and is well-connected.  He will be well-funded.  We won't be able to compete as far as financing, but we can make up for it by having a well-planned ground game.

We need to knock on every Republican door and make calls into every Republican household in the next eight weeks. That means that we need YOU to volunteer to make phone calls or walk precincts.  This election will be won on turnout.

If we can turn out more Republicans than they turn out Democrats, we can win this race.  There was a 9% turnout in the election last Tuesday.  If we can get a 20% Republican turnout, Susan will win in November.  That is our task.
